Technology incorporates a suite of systems that constantly measure your listening environment.  When a change is detected, S.M.A.R.T. Technology analyzes the new listening situation.  It then reacts within milliseconds to transparently adapt before important communication is lost.

NOISE LIMITING SYSTEM
Noise is unavoidable, but it shouldn’t be overwhelming

Innova’s Noise Limiting System combats low- and high-level noises that make it difficult to communicate. The Noise Limiting System includes two key technologies: Gain Dependent Expansion and Adaptive Noise Reduction.  These technologies work together to limit the amount of noise you hear, so that important sounds (such as speech) are not overpowered.

Directional technology is a proven way to improve speech understanding in background noise. Directionality emphasizes sounds that arrive in front of you, which tend to be speech.  It also de-emphasizes sounds that arrive to the side of and behind you, which tend to be noise.   By layering Configurable Directionality, DIRECTIONALplus™, and DIRECTIONALfocus™,
Innova’s D3 Directionality system exceeds the performance of all commercial directional hearing aids on the market today.  D3 Directionality helps you focus on the sounds that are in front of you, and turns down the sounds that make it difficult to communicate.

ACCUVOICE SYSTEM
Because living in a barrel is no way to live

Frequently, when people wear hearing aids they comment that their voice sounds unnatural - as though they are “talking in a barrel.”  This experience is normal when wearing hearing aids; however, it shouldn’t be distracting while trying to communicate.  The AccuVoice system allows your hearing care professional to make external and internal changes to your hearing aid to improve the sound of your own voice.   Innova offers several unique tools including: Voice Management, low-frequency adjustments, and open vents to combat the “barrel effect.”
